​​Ashleigh Demi is an award-winning journalist, media personality, and entrepreneur whose career spans newspaper, radio, television, and digital media. She has leveraged her expertise to build a dynamic social presence of nearly 50,000 followers across platforms, anchored by her signature mantra, Now Go Be Fabulous!®—a message rooted in confidence, visibility, and purpose.

 

A gorgeous Prince George's native in the Washington DC metro area, Ashleigh began her career at The Washington Post before producing local television news at WTTG/FOX 5. She later helped launch 99.1 WNEW, an all-news radio station, competing directly with industry leader WTOP. Her radio career continued on Washington DC’s 95.5 WPGC, where she produced and broadcasted hip-hop and R&B programming, expanding her on-air reach and influence to millions.

 

As her profile grew, Ashleigh became an on-air contributor for TV One’s News One Now with Roland Martin and has since built a multifaceted entrepreneurial brand centered on media, content curation, red-carpet hosting, live event moderation, and brand partnerships. Her work has earned her recognition including a Women of Empowerment Award, CUNAA Top 40 Under 40, and DMV's Top 30 Under 30 honors.

 

Beyond media, Ashleigh is deeply committed to service and leadership, serving on philanthropic and professional boards including the Washington Association of Black Journalists, Alpha Beta Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, and the National Cherry Blossom Festival’s annual Pink Tie Party Committee. Today, she collaborates with brands such as STARZ, covers VIP events, leads red carpets, and appears live regularly on FOX 5’s Good Day DC and DMV Live Zone in her hometown.
