Media maven Ashleigh Demi is a multi-talented journalist, broadcaster, host, media personality, and an influencer.   The charismatic go-getter, Ashleigh Demi leveraged her skills to create an engaging social persona of nearly 50K across digital platforms.  Identified by her mantra, Now Go Be Fabulous!©, Ashleigh Demi created a space for herself and others in efforts to enlighten, encourage and inspire individuals searching for their inner beauty, outer beauty and fabulousity.

 

Raised in the suburbs of Prince George's County, Maryland, Ashleigh Demi received her diploma, and enrolled in the nation's oldest historically Black college and university, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania.  While at Cheyney Univerisity, Ashleigh pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts.

 

After Demi received her degree, she landed her first job out of college, The Washington Post which enabled Ashleigh to start a promising career in journalism, news. and entertainment.  Many story rejections from editors subsequently opened the door to her first byline, "Ashley D. Diggs" in the historic newspaper.  Following The Post, she wrote for the AFRO, Mustard Seed magazine,  and later produced news segments at WTTG/FOX 5 television stations in Washington, D.C.  

 

Succeeding print, Ashleigh added broadasting to her resume by joining for CBS Radio stations, WNEW 99.1 FM and WPGC 95.5 FM in Washington, D.C.  After garnering radio skills under the tutelage of the late Tony Redz a.k.a Mr. 24/7, Ashleigh teamed up for a weekly podcast series with Washington Redskins veteran Fred Smoot and actor Antonio “Cuban Cigar Smoka" Lambertis.  Moreover, Demi joined Dr. Michael Eric Dyson in broadcast to share Black news and publicly voice strong opinions surrounding today’s societal issues.

 

More recently, Ashleigh Demi's persona became more recognizable as she became a weekly co-host on the national television show, "News One Now" hosted by Roland Martin that aired on TV One. In addition, Ashleigh has made cameos on the Maryland-based hit television show, "Real Housewives of Potomac" on BRAVO, appearances at ESSENCE Fest, BET Awards red carpet, reports live on the relaunched, Sister 2 Sister 2.0., and more.

 

Today, the media maven has coined the phrase,  Now Go Be Fabulous!© and has built an entrepreneurial brand comprised of media, curating content, hosting red carpets, hosting events, and making appearances and influences.
