Award-winning Ashleigh Demi is a journalist & media personality that worked in every media outlet--newspaper, radio, television, and digital. Ashleigh Demi leveraged her skills to create an engaging social persona of nearly 50K across social media platforms. Identified by her mantra, Now Go Be Fabulous!©, Ashleigh Demi created a space to enlighten, encourage and inspire individuals coming after her.
Ashleigh Demi began her career in her hometown at The Washington Post. Later, she produced local news at WTTG/FOX 5 television. Then, she helped launch “all news, all the time” radio station 99.1 WNEW against leading competitor 103.5 WTOP. Following news radio, she produced & broadcast on hip hop & R&B’s 95.5 WPGC in Washington, D.C. Becoming more recognizable, Ashleigh Demi became an on-air contributor on TVOne's "News One Now" hosted by Roland Martin.
Ashleigh coined the phrase, Now Go Be Fabulous!© and has built an entrepreneurial brand comprised of media, curating content, hosting red carpets, hosting events, and making appearances and influences. She has been honored with a Women of Empowerment award, CUNAA Top 40 Under 40 award, and DMV's Top 30 Under 30 honoree.
Today, Ashleigh serves on three philanthropic boards including the Washington Association of Black Journalists, Alpha Beta Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, and the National Cherry Blossom Festival's annual Pink Tie Party committee. Today, Ashleigh influences with brands like STARZ, covering VIP events in NYC, leading red carpets, and contributes live on-air on FOX5's Good Day DC and DMV Live Zone in Washington, DC.
