Once voted one of D.C., Maryland, and Virginia’s “Top 30 Under 30”, radio & television host Ashleigh Demi is a multi-talented media maven.  Today, the charismatic workhorse leveraged her media skills to create a brand that engages a social media presence of nearly 50K across various social media platforms combined.


Raised in the suburbs of Prince George's County, Maryland, Ashleigh Demi received her diploma, and pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated during her undergraduate studies.  In 2006, she earned her Bachelor's degree from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania. 


In 2007, she began writing for The Washington Post which began her career in media, news and entertainment.  She then, wrote and produced news segments at WTTG/FOX 5 television stations in Washington, D.C.  From there, Demi made a small acting debut and extra income on television shows, including the Emmy award-winning drama "House of Cards" and the HBO Series "Veep".


Subsequently, Ashleigh added radio to her resume, and broadcasted for CBS Radio stations, WNEW 99.1 FM and WPGC 95.5 FM in Washington, D.C.  After garnering those skills, Ashleigh teamed up with a former Washington Redskins player, Fred Smoot, and a former WKYS 93.9 FM radio host Antonio "The Cuban Cigar Smoka" Lambertis and launched a weekly podcast series on


In 2016, Ashleigh Demi's persona became more recognizable as she became a weekly co-host on the national television show, "News One Now" hosted by Roland Martin that aired on TVOne. In addition, Ashleigh has made cameos on the Maryland-based hit reality television show, "Real Housewives of Potomac" airing on BRAVO.  


Today, the media maven has coined the phrase, Now Go Be Fabulous™️ to inspire individuals who lack confidence, and motivate individuals to fulfill their passion and "live their best life".  Ashleigh Demi has built an entrepreneurial brand comprised of media, curating content, building relationships, while still hosting red carpets, hosting events, and making appearances.
